I first fell in love with Magnolias in the beginning of 2010 which led me on a crazy path to learn to colour! Much of my inspiration came from the talented Magnolia team who I continue to admire today. I am so excited to join them and inspire you to love Maggies as much as I do.

Hello everyone! I made this card last week for the last MDUC challenge. The girls gave me the thumbs up for this weeks challenge and I just scraped through with my ‘metal’ zip! hehee Bonus!! :D I am a little bit proud of this card. You know how I have been doing the clean and simple – well I decided to go for an ‘Alyce’ style card with the muted brown colours and pretty flowers etc… oh and of course the ‘pearl’ »

Hi Everyone! This week it’s sketch time over at the MDUC blog. Perfect if you’re still working on your Christmas cards and need some inspiration to crank out those cards! I am TERRIBLE at following sketches BUT I thought I would see how SIMPLE (with my new CAS style… haha) I could make my card following the Sketch! Here’s a pic of the sketch – what do you think?? Did I do OK?? I must add that although not mentioned on »

Jingle Jangle, Jingle Jangle, Jingle all the way….. I can promise you, you are glad you didn’t actually hear me sing that! :D So just a quick simple post today to go along with my nice simple card. :) Little miss Jingle Jangle Tilda here was stamped with a lightly coloured ink pad. I coloured the background first so that I could practice adding a ‘glow’ to the edges of her clothing and hair. Once complete I trimmed, then sponged »

Hi Everyone, This week at Magnolia Down Under Challenges the theme is ‘All about Books‘! I have wanted to make one of these little corner bookmarks for a while and I thought it would be less stressful for me without too much to decorate! hehe It’s been ages since I have played with the no lines technique and so I thought I would see if I could still do it. :) It would appear I can but I am a little disappointed with her face. I do »

Hi Everyone, This week at Magnolia Down Under Challenges the challenge is to base your project on a Song! I originally started a project basing it on a Christmas Song but at the last minute I went completely off that idea and decided to colour up Tilda with her Kookaburra and the perfect song of course is “The Kookaburra Song”!! hehehe If you would like to find out more about the song you can view it here – You can also listen to »

Hi Everyone, It’s been a long long time since I posted here. I have become a TERRIBLE blogger!!!! Well hopefully that will change for at least twice a month! hehe My gorgeous girlfriends from Magnolia Down Under Challenges have asked me to come play with them. I am excited to be joining them as I haven’t been on the same team as all of them at once before. It will be heaps of fun and will likely help pull me from my little bubble I find »

Hi Maggie Lovers! I have just a quick card to share with you today. I have had little Tilda here half coloured on my desk for a couple of weeks, and I finally decided I better finish colouring her up and make a card. And it’s a Christmas card!! I thought since I was so late last year that it might be a good idea to start making a few when I get a chance. :) Here’s a close up of ‘Tilda with Blue Blanket’. Isn’t she a cutie?! »
