I first fell in love with Magnolias in the beginning of 2010 which led me on a crazy path to learn to colour! Much of my inspiration came from the talented Magnolia team who I continue to admire today. I am so excited to join them and inspire you to love Maggies as much as I do.

Hi Maggie Lovers! So today I share with you my ‘Tilda in Winter Light’ Christmas card. I have been colouring her on and off for a while and finally finished her off and made a clean cut card. :) I coloured ‘Tilda in Winter Light’ with Copic Markers first. I had this bright idea that I would have the light source come from the lantern. Just turned out to be harder than I had anticipated. After I finished colouring with markers »

Hi Maggie Lovers, I thought I should start making some quick cards using some of the images I have coloured up. Decided I would just make up a basic card. I have been quite spoilt lately and my good friend Maria sent me this gorgeous Sneaky Tilda stamp recently for my birthday. It takes forever for anything to arrive from Canada for some reason. I think they must send everything via Japan across to London around to Perth and then via emu through the »

Hi Maggie Lovers! I was feeling guilty because I found Apple Tilda still in her packaging and well I only needed a small nudge to open her up and start colouring! I spent quite some time colouring her… You can click to enlarge for a super close up… The colours for the challenge are Pink and Yellow and I decided I would make her quite vibrant so I blended RV14 and RV29 together adding a touch of RV19 for additional depth. I JUST received my Prismacolor »

Hi Maggie Lovers! I decided that all work and no play was beginning to make a very dull Zoe! So today I played for me. :) Well also so that I could share with you this absolutely gorgeous background Alex has illustrated. It’s such a magical scene with over sized flowers and mushrooms, hanging vines and of course a forest seat, designed especially for your seated characters. Of course I had to grab one of my maggies! I don’t have many sitting Tilda’s »

Hi Maggie Lovers! Hope you are having a fabulous weekend. Just a quick post from me today. Earlier this week I coloured up another ‘new for me’ Tilda that I have had for quite a few months and just hadn’t had a chance to play. I was pretty happy with the outcome so decided I would make a card. :) I even played with flower arranging and made some hat pins to match. And a close up of Flying Tilda. I was reminded of the talented dotty backgrounds »

Hi Everyone! I hope you are having a great weekend! Earlier this week I coloured in this gorgeous Maggie Midsummer Tilda with really light pinks and blues. At the time I wrote how I wanted to challenge myself to colour her again in red! And here she is… The camera hates photographing red and it was really hard for me to fix this time but it’s close…  :) For those of you who know me and are regulars you may just do a double take when you read »

Hi Maggie Lovers! Hope you had a great weekend. I was spurring on my friend Maria to enter a challenge and said I would play to. I think I just needed an excuse to have a bit of a play and finally ink up miss Tilda that was STILL in her packaging! This card is a little ‘pretty’ for me. I was totally out of my comfort zone and it still feels a bit weird. Glitter EVERYWHERE!! heehee It all started with Midsummer Tilda of course. Normally I colour »
